Our history
F.lli Maietti s.r.l. was founded in 1961 by its namesake founder, Giuseppe. After a long and significant career in the production of plumbing and valves for industrial systems at a leading national company, Giuseppe decided to put his skills and knowledge to the test.
Over the years, to meet the demands of an increasingly discerning market and with the goal of expanding and improving the product line, the company has invested in technology and training to provide customers with high-performance products at competitive prices, specialising in the production of safety valves.
MACHINING
The mechanical workshop
The mechanical workshop is equipped with top-of-the-range machinery, rigorously maintained and regularly serviced to ensure precise work and the utmost safety of our operators.
The assembly laboratory, another crucial area, is equipped with the necessary tools and controls for the assembly of our valve products. It features a modern test bench controlled by a sophisticated computer system, ensuring accuracy and precision at every stage of production. Detailed test reports for each individual product are generated, allowing for the preparation of the necessary documentation, in compliance with current regulations, for installation at the end customer.
The finishing and packaging department completes the production cycle with a dedicated painting booth and suitable equipment for packaging products ready for delivery. This ensures that the products can travel safely, arriving at their destination on time and without any issues.
The entire production cycle has been improved and perfected over the years, thanks in part to the company's long-standing commitment to quality, which began in 1993.
REQUESTS AND SERVICES
Testing certifications
F.lli Maietti has always adhered to the current legislation, first within Italian territory, and since 2002, within European territory, obtaining the required approvals and certifications:
- Since 1977, prototype approvals in accordance with "Raccolta E" A.N.C.C., renewing them until the entry into force of the PED Directive.
- In 2002, certification through modules B+D in accordance with Directive 97/23/EC and subsequently 2014/68/EU with the Notified Body I.N.A.I.L.
- In 2004, certification was obtained for the ATE Directive 94/9/EC, which later became 2014/34/EU, with the Notified Body CESI S.p.A.
New or refurbished safety valves can undergo calibration verification by INAIL.
At our headquarters, it is also possible to request voluntary third-party inspections by leading organisations such as R.I.N.A, Bureau Veritas, Lloyd's Register, or those specified by the customer.
